Job summary

Franklin Gardens Residence in Leamington, Ontario is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to provide clinical leadership and coordinate high-quality, person-centered care for residents.

The RN will conduct assessments, develop and update care plans, ensure medication safety, support IPAC standards, and collaborate with physicians, families, and the care team to promote dignity, choice, and quality of life.

Qualifications

• Current General Class registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Current Certificate of Competence with the College of Nurses of Ontario or equivalent for Ontario registration.
• Demonstrated ability to practice per CNO standards and guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Complete comprehensive nursing assessments and update individualized care plans.
• Complete clinical documentation and assessments (including interRAI) and support care conferences.
• Coordinate with physicians/NP, pharmacy, external providers, and families/SDMs for timely follow-up.
