Job summary

Franklin Gardens Residence in Leamington, Ontario, is seeking a Staff Development Coordinator to lead the Home’s education program, coordinate orientation, and ensure inspection readiness. You will manage the LMS, track compliance, and collaborate with nursing leadership to translate quality indicators into targeted training.

The role offers an opportunity to support person-centered care, coaching, and ongoing professional development for staff across shifts in a long-term care setting.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in health/science or regulated clinical background.
• Experience in long-term care and adult education.
• Experience using LMS for training and compliance reporting.
• Ability to assess learning needs and develop education plans.

Responsibilities

• Lead and administer the staff development program with annual education plan.
• Coordinate orientation and mandatory education for staff and students.
• Manage LMS, track completion, generate compliance reports.
• Support accreditation activities and annual education initiatives.
• Collaborate with leadership to translate CQI priorities into training.
