Job summary

Collingwood General & Marine Hospital in Ontario is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the ICU on a temporary part-time basis for approximately 18 months. You will work 12-hour shifts including days, nights and weekends, providing high-acuity care to critically ill patients in a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Active RN registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
• 2 years nursing experience in acute care setting.
• BLS and ACLS certification.
• Coronary Care I or willingness to complete within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor critically ill patients.
• Provide nursing care and treatments within RN scope of practice.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to support patient care.
• Deliver supportive, therapeutic, palliative, and rehabilitative care.
• Educate patients and families and promote health and wellness.
• Ensure safe, high-quality care in accordance with CNO standards.
