Job summary

Collingwood General & Marine Hospital in Collingwood, Ontario is seeking Registered Practical Nurses for the Med/Surg/Overflow unit on a temporary part-time basis (2026-213). The role supports surge capacity during the winter season and may be assigned to units based on acuity.

You will join a supportive team, enjoy competitive hourly wages of $40.13–$41.22 per hour plus shift premiums, and access education funding and other valuable perks. The position currently involves 12-hour shifts.

Qualifications

• Current Certificate of Registration as a Registered Practical Nurse with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
• Coronary Care 1 certification is an asset.
• One year of applicable nursing experience.
• Experience with Meditech Expanse.

Responsibilities

• Contributes within the scope of an RPN as a team member in the assessment, treatment, provision of care and health promotion for all patients through supportive, therapeutic, palliative and rehabilitative means while adhering to the standards mandated by the College of Nurses of Ontario.
