Job description

Almonte General Hospital and Carleton Place & DistrictMemorial Hospital created the Mississippi River Health Alliance (MRHA) in 2016to formalize their commitment to work together to improve each patient andresident’s overall health care experience through a strong, coordinated systemof care. An integrated Senior Team leads the two Hospitals, as well as FairviewManor and Lanark County Paramedic Service which are operating divisions of AGH.Over 600 caring staff, physicians and midwives provide excellent primary, acuteand long-term care to citizens of Lanark County, West Ottawa and RenfrewCounty.

Fairview Manor is a long-term care home owned and operatedby the Almonte General Hospital. The Manor is a bright and spaciousstate-of-the-art home to 112 residents; connected to the Almonte GeneralHospital by a 15,000-square-foot link that permits residents, staff, volunteersand visitors to move easily from Long-Term Care to the Hospital. We areregulated by the Ontario Ministry of Health and Long Term Care and is fullyaccredited by Accreditation Canada.

Qualifications:
  • Current Registration in good standing with the College ofNurses of Ontario as a Registered Nurse, BScN preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Long Term Care and/or a Gerontology.
  • Working knowledge of organization policies and procedures and LTC standards of care.
