Job summary

Mississippi River Health Alliance (MRHA) invites applications for a Food Service Worker within its connected hospital sites in Lanark County, Ontario. You will support patient meals, maintain hygiene and safety standards, and collaborate with the hospital team to ensure timely and accurate service.

Applicants must have or be pursuing the Food Service Worker Certification; a valid Food Handler Certificate is required.

Job description

Almonte General Hospital and Carleton Place & DistrictMemorial Hospital created the Mississippi River Health Alliance (MRHA) in 2016to formalize their commitment to work together to improve each patient andresident’s overall health care experience through a strong, coordinated systemof care. An integrated Senior Team leads the two Hospitals, as well as FairviewManor and Lanark County Paramedic Service which are operating divisions of AGH.Over 600 caring staff, physicians and midwives provide excellent primary, acuteand long-term care to citizens of Lanark County, West Ottawa and RenfrewCounty.

Qualifications:
  • All applicants must have successfully completed or be currently enrolled and engaged in the Food Service Worker Certification program with an expected successful completion of this program within two years of the start date of this position. A current Food Handler Certificate must be maintained.
