Job summary

Mississippi River Health Alliance is seeking a Personal Support Worker for a Summer Relief role. The position is temporary full-time across day, evening, and night shifts at facilities in Almonte and Carleton Place, Ontario.

Salary scales from $29.95 to $31.50 per hour, with a start date of 2026-02-05 and a strong emphasis on safety and teamwork. Qualifications include completion of a recognized PSW program with Community College certification; RPN/RN students in their first year may apply.

Qualifications

  • Successful completion of a recognized Personal Support Worker program, including formal certification by a recognized Community College.
  • RPN and RN students who have completed their first year of schooling are eligible to apply.
  • Previous experience in a Complex Continuing Care or Long-Term Care setting would be preferred.

Almonte General Hospital and Carleton Place & DistrictMemorial Hospital created the Mississippi River Health Alliance (MRHA) in 2016to formalize their commitment to work together to improve each patient andresident’s overall health care experience through a strong, coordinated systemof care. An integrated Senior Team leads the two Hospitals, as well as FairviewManor and Lanark County Paramedic Service which are operating divisions of AGH.Over 600 caring staff, physicians and midwives provide excellent primary, acuteand long-term care to citizens of Lanark County, West Ottawa and RenfrewCounty.

Qualifications:
