Qualifications

• Graduation from an approved School of Nursing with current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
• Ability to assess and monitor patients, develop care plans, and implement nursing interventions.
• Strong communication and collaboration with patients, families and the health-care team.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and collect information to determine nursing diagnoses and plan care.
• Collaborate with the interprofessional care team to develop and modify the care plan.
• Coordinate nursing care, prioritize tasks, and document patient information.
• Educate patients and families on health maintenance and discharge planning.
