Fraser Health Authority is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care in an acute medical unit, applying BC Practice Standards and Fraser Health procedures. You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care, collaborating with an interprofessional team to ensure safe, effective patient outcomes.

The role emphasizes family involvement, care coordination, education of patients and ongoing professional development.

Competenze

• Graduation from an approved School of Nursing with current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse (BCCNM).
• Ability to complete initial and ongoing patient assessment, clinical and diagnostic reasoning.
• Effective communication with patients, families and the interprofessional care team.

Mansioni

• Assess patients and collect information to determine nursing interventions.
• Collaborate with families to develop and modify care plans.
• Coordinate nursing care, set priorities and delegate tasks to support staff.
• Perform non-invasive diagnostic tests and document results.
• Educate patients and families on health care topics and discharge plans.
