Job summary

BrightPath Kids in Leslieville, Toronto, is seeking a Registered Early Childhood Educator for a full-time role. You will work alongside teachers and families to provide a home away from home, implementing BrightPath’s curriculum and supporting children’s development.

Requirements include RECE in good standing with the Ontario College of ECE, current First Aid and infant CPR, and immunization health assessment compliance. Great benefits and growth opportunities available.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a program aligned with BrightPath curriculum to support child development.
• Maintain a safe, healthy classroom environment for children.
• Assess children's abilities and share progress with families and staff.
• Foster collaborative relationships with colleagues, management and families.
• Attend staff meetings and professional development as required.
• Keep classroom materials clean and well-organized.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Pay Range: $17.60 - $23.00 per hour, Government Wage Enhancement offered on top of hourly pay

What will you be doing?

As a Registered Early Childhood Educator, you will work side‑by‑side with teachers and families to provide a home away from home for children in our care. Responsibilities include:

• Developing and implementing a program in line with BrightPath’s curriculum that supports the development of children.
• Maintaining an environment that protects the well‑being of children.
• Assessing the abilities, interests, and needs of children and discuss progress with parents and other staff.
• Establishing collaborative relationships with co‑workers, management, and families.
• Attending staff meetings and professional development opportunities as necessary.
• Working to maintain cleanliness and organization of classroom materials.
• Other duties as assigned.
