BrightPath Kids in Leslieville, ON is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Early Childhood Educator to implement BrightPath's curriculum, support child development, and partner with families and colleagues to ensure a safe, engaging environment.

Eligible candidates must hold an RECE, meet provincial childcare requirements, and maintain current First Aid and infant CPR, with immunization per local health rules. This role offers strong benefits and career growth.

Responsibilities

• Developing and implementing a program aligned with BrightPath's curriculum to support child development.
• Maintaining a safe, clean and organized learning environment.
• Assessing children’s abilities and progress; communicating with parents and staff.
• Collaborating with coworkers, management and families.
• Attending staff meetings and professional development as needed.

Pay Range: $17.60 - $23.00 per hour, Government Wage Enhancement offered on top of hourly pay

What will you be doing?

• Developing and implementing a program in line with BrightPath's curriculum that supports the development of children.


• Maintaining an environment that protects the well-being of children.


• Assessing the abilities, interests, and needs of children and discuss progress with parents and other staff.


• Establishing collaborative relationships with co-workers, management, and families.


• Attending staff meetings and professional development opportunities as necessary.


• Working to maintain cleanliness and organization of classroom materials.


• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) - must be a member in good standing with the Ontario College of ECE


• Must meet province requirements for childcare employment


• Current Standard First Aid and infant child CPR


• Current immunization and health assessment as per the local Minister of Health Requirements
