Comfort Keepers is seeking a Registered Care Aide (RCA) with a car to join our Richmond-area team. You will provide in-home care and companionship to seniors and adults needing support.

This role supports clients with ADLs/IADLs, reports changes to the health care team, and helps maintain a safe, comfortable home. A valid HCA certificate, BC Registry Number, and reliable vehicle are required.

Qualifications

• HCA Certificate and BC Registry Number required.
• Driver's license and own vehicle required.
• Current First Aid and CPR training.
• Access to a mobile phone.
• Criminal Record Check.
• Weekend/evening availability is a bonus.

Responsabilités

• Assisting in the delivery of client care and home support services under the direction of the health care team.
• Assist clients with care, observe, and report significant changes in the client’s presentation.
• Collaborate with the health care team, clients, and their caregivers to maximize independence with activities of daily living (ADLs) and instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs).
• Assist clients with Bathing, showering, dressing, mobility, feeding, toileting
• Assist with household activities including meal prep, shopping for groceries laundry etc.
• Motivate, encourage, and involve clients in their care.
• Provide input and feedback in the care planning process to the health care team.
• Maintaining a clean and safe environment for clients and staff.
• Driving client in their vehicle to appointments and outings
