Job summary

Comfort Keepers in Richmond, BC is seeking a Registered Care Aide (RCA) with a car to provide in-home care for seniors and adults in the Richmond area.

You will assist with ADLs/IADLs, observe changes, work with a health care team, drive clients to appointments, and help with meal prep, shopping, and light housekeeping.

The role offers paid training, a competitive hourly wage starting at $23, and a friendly, supportive team.

Qualifications

• HCA Certificate and BC Registry Number are required.
• Current First Aid and CPR training.
• Criminal Record Check required.
• Driver's license and own vehicle is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the delivery of client care and home support under the health care team.
• Assist clients with care, observe changes and report significant changes.
• Collaborate with the health care team and clients to maximize independence with ADLs and IADLs.
• Assist with bathing, mobility, dressing, feeding, toileting.
• Assist with meal prep, shopping, laundry, and light housework.
• Motivate and involve clients in their care.
• Provide input in care planning to the health care team.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients and staff.
• Drive clients to appointments and outings.
