Job summary

Northern Health in Terrace is seeking a Registered Care Aide at Ksyen Regional Hospital. Under the supervision of a manager or designate, you will work with an interdisciplinary team to assist in delivering client care in line with established policies, standards, and procedures.

Must have current registration with the BC Care Aide Registry and complete a Nursing Assistant program; Grade 10 plus education is required.

Qualifications

  • Grade 10 plus graduation from a recognized Nursing Assistant Program and registration with BC Care Aide & Community Health Worker Registry.

Position Summary

In accordance with the established mission, vision, values, and strategic priorities of Northern Health, and under the general supervision of Manager or designate, the Registered Care Aide works in cooperation with interdisciplinary team members to assist in the delivery of client care in accordance with established policies, standards, and procedures.

Must have current registration with the BC Care Aide Registry
Qualifications
  • Grade 10 plus graduation from a recognized Nursing Assistant Program or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience and registered with the BC Care Aide & Community Health Worker Registry.
Skills and Abilities:
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to deal with others effectively.
  • Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.
  • Ability to organize work.
  • Ability to operate related equipment.
