Job summary

First Nations Health Authority is seeking a Regional Technical IT Analyst to provide hands-on IT support for sub-regional and regional meetings, troubleshoot issues, and deliver user training. The role requires a university degree in computer science or a related field and 5–7 years of relevant experience.

The position is based in Ladysmith with travel between regional offices, on a 6-month term, with a salary range of $76,530 to $105,229 per year.

his role provides audio/visual support for sub-regional, regional, and committee meetings during Fall Caucus, while also delivering technical support to Vancouver Island regional and satellite offices. The successful candidate will help ensure seamless technology operations and a positive user experience across the region.

Title: Regional Technical IT Analyst

Salary: $76,530 - $95,662 - $105,229 per year (pay range explained below)

Contract: Term- 6 months

Hours: Monday – Friday 8am- 4pm or 8:30am- 4:30pm

Location: Stz’uminus – Ladysmith- with travel between regional offices.

Working closely with both regional and corporate IMIT teams, you’ll troubleshoot technical issues, support events and infrastructure, and deliver training that empowers users to make the most of their technology. About You

To be successful in this role you will have/be –

Education

• A university degree in Computer Science, college degree with a technical major or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience

Experience

• 5 to 7 years of recent or relevant experience or a combination or education and experience

Requirements

• Valid Class 5 BC driver’s license
• Ability to determine requirements for IT support

The Pay Range is the minimum and maximum annual salary based on full time equivalent hours.

Incumbents are typically hired, transferred or promoted between the minimum and midpoint of the range based on their knowledge, skills, abilities and experience in relation to the role requirements.

The top 10% of the pay range is for the incumbents who are industry experts in the job with the combination of exceptional experience and competencies needed to perform all duties and responsibilities at a superior capability level. Internal employee compensation will be determined as per the FNHA Employee Total Compensation Policy.
