Humankind Global Recruitment represents a client in Halifax seeking a Regional Head of Technology & Operations. This Hybrid role requires leadership across CIO functions and regional collaboration to ensure operational readiness and workforce growth.

The successful candidate will drive talent development, succession planning, and cross-functional alignment within a matrix organization, balancing strategic priorities with local execution.

Qualifications

• Significant leadership experience in a complex technology/operations environment.
• Strong ability to influence multiple functions within a matrix organization.
• Proven stakeholder management, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Experience in workforce planning and organizational growth.

Responsibilities

• Provide visible regional leadership and representation across CIO functions.
• Promote One CIO culture, collaboration, engagement, and colleague experience.
• Lead regional workforce planning, talent development, onboarding, succession, and growth initiatives.
• Act as a senior escalation point for regional colleague, workplace, and people matters, with HR and Office Admin.
• Coordinate cross-functional regional activities, leadership forums, governance, and communications.
• Support the establishment and growth of CIO teams within the region.
• Represent regional opportunities and risks in CIO leadership discussions.
• Lead regional CIO coordination during business continuity events.
