Job summary

The YMCA of Southern Interior BC is seeking a Senior Manager of Community Programs for the South Okanagan Region. You will drive strategy, oversee a portfolio of community and employment programs, and lead a team across multiple locations to ensure safe, high-quality delivery aligned with funding agreements and YMCA values.

You will manage budgets, reporting, and stakeholder relations with funders and government partners, while advancing equity, inclusion, and community impact in the South

Qualifications

• Three to five years of senior-level leadership experience in community services or related sector.
• Progressive leadership experience in program planning, evaluation, and financial management.
• Strong knowledge of government contracts, funding agreements, and accountability.

Responsibilities

• Support the division's strategic priorities and operational goals with the General Manager.
• Provide strategic direction and oversight for a diverse portfolio of programs.
• Lead, train, coach, and support a team of 2 Managers and ~25 staff across locations.
• Ensure programs meet contractual obligations, YMCA standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee government-funded intervention programs serving vulnerable populations.
