JOB TITLE: Regional Sales Manager – Canada (Mental & Behavioural Health Solutions)

LOCATION: Toronto, Remote based.

WORKING HOURS: 7.30am - 4.30pm

A bit about the role

Pineapple is expanding into the North American mental health / behavioural health market and aims to leverage the potential of our globally renowned, market-leading product.

As a skilled Regional Sales Manager, you will oversee business operations in Canada and hold full responsibility for the country's sales. Your role involves identifying and maintaining long-term relationships with key customers, understanding their needs, and supporting tender processes as necessary.

You should excel at building strong relationships with strategic clients and proactively developing new business opportunities. Your ability to identify customer needs and promote sales is essential.

Some of your key responsibilities

  • Own and manage sales activities across Canada.
  • Build and maintain excellent relationships with major existing clients.
  • Understand and address key customer needs and requirements.
  • Lead efforts in generating new sales and fostering long-term relationships.
  • Proactively seek out and convert new business opportunities, follow up on leads, and organize meetings.
  • Log all sales and client activities accurately within our CRM and internal systems.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies for regional growth.
  • Build a pipeline of future opportunities to maximize revenue.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and their influence on decision-making.
  • Understand customer needs to provide tailored, solution-based proposals.
  • Create sales presentations and tender documents for new business meetings.
  • Present at monthly sales meetings to the management team.
  • Prepare strategy documents for top accounts.
  • Attend key industry events as required.
  • Gather feedback on client needs and aspirations to inform new product development.
  • Conduct 24 face-to-face client appointments per month, utilizing virtual meetings as needed.
  • Achieve a monthly target of 500 calls and establish connections with at least 150 decision-makers.
  • Work effectively from a remote location with minimal supervision.
  • Travel regularly, sometimes at short notice, including overnight stays, averaging 2 days per week out with clients.
  • Possess a background in business development or sales.
  • Drive sales targets, nurturing existing relationships and seeking new business opportunities.
  • Hold a clean driving license.
  • Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills.
