JOB TITLE: Regional Sales Manager – Canada (Mental & Behavioural Health Solutions)

LOCATION: Toronto, Remote based.

WORKING HOURS: 7.30am - 4.30pm

A bit about the role

Pineapple is making inroads into the North American mental health / behavioural health market and has ambitious growth goals to take advantage of the potential for our market-leading product, which has become globally renowned.

As a skilled Regional Sales Manager, you will oversee business for Canada and take ownership of the country's sales as a whole. You will be responsible for identifying and maintaining long-term relationships with key customers by fully understanding their requirements. Some tender work may be required, and support will be provided.

You will excel at building strong relationships with strategic customers and proactively developing new business. You will be able to identify needs and promote sales effectively.

Some of your key responsibilities

  1. Own and lead sales efforts for Canada.
  2. Build and maintain excellent relationships with major existing clients.
  3. Understand key customer needs and requirements thoroughly.
  4. Generate new sales and develop long-lasting client relationships.
  5. Proactively seek and convert new business opportunities, follow up on leads, and organize meetings.
  6. Log all sales and client activity accurately within our CRM and internal systems.
  7. Develop and implement sales strategies to grow the region.
  8. Build a pipeline of future work to maximize revenue growth.
  9. Stay informed about industry trends influencing decision-making.
  10. Understand customer needs and provide solution-based proposals.
  11. Create sales presentations and tender documents for new business meetings.
  12. Present at monthly sales meetings to management.
  13. Develop strategy documents for top accounts.
  14. Attend key industry events as required.
  15. Gather feedback on client needs to assist in developing new products.

Additional responsibilities include:

  1. Attending 24 face-to-face or virtual meetings per month with decision makers.
  2. Making 500 calls monthly to connect with at least 150 decision makers.
  3. Working effectively from a remote location with minimal supervision.
  4. Traveling regularly, sometimes at short notice, with an expectation of being out with clients approximately 2 days per week.
  5. Having a background in business development or commercial sales.
  6. Being target-driven, nurturing existing relationships, and eager to win new business.
  7. Possessing a clean driving license.
  8. Having excellent written and verbal communication skills.
