This is a flexible position with options to work in our Toronto office full-time, hybrid, or entirely remotely.

The Regional Sales Manager (“RSM”) is responsible for Vena’s sales activities and success within our mid-market segment, partnering with potential prospects and existing customer organizations in their designated geographic territory. The RSM will aim to meet or exceed sales quotas, volume, and quality of sales activities, following Vena's sales methodology.

The RSM will actively contribute to on-the-ground sales and marketing initiatives within their territory and support ongoing improvements in sales effectiveness and productivity. Collaboration across Vena’s teams—including Sales, Marketing, Professional Services, Customer Success, and Product—will be essential.

What You Will Do
  1. Represent and lead sales efforts in your territory, guiding strategy and ongoing improvement.
  2. Maintain high standards of personal leadership and accountability to ensure sales targets are met.
  3. Ensure timely and accurate reporting of sales activities, pipeline status, and forecasts.
  4. Collaborate across teams to enhance sales efforts and maintain transparency and alignment.
  5. Support remote inside sales and partner teams to promote Vena’s brand and drive revenue.
  6. Participate in performance reviews, providing feedback and recommendations for improvement.
  7. Drive performance in key areas: ARR generation, prospecting, pipeline development, and customer expansion.
  8. Own your targets, attend sales meetings, complete onboarding and certification, and support local and third-party events.
  9. Promote the Vena brand and uphold company values and policies.
  10. Mentor and attract sales team members, fostering a culture of growth, collaboration, and accountability.
Does this sound like you?
  • 3+ years of proven success in similar RSM roles, working with mid-market and larger organizations in complex sales cycles (multistage presentations, demos, proof of concept), with an ARR of $25,000+.
  • 5+ years of experience in quota-carrying sales roles within high-growth SaaS or enterprise vendors such as SAP, Oracle, or Workday.
  • Experience in new logo acquisition and territory development.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills, especially with senior management and C-suite stakeholders.
  • Experience with CRM and marketing automation tools like Salesforce, SalesLoft, and LinkedIn.
  • Preferred: experience selling to finance audiences and knowledge of finance processes and accounting.
