Job summary

BMO Financial Group seeks a Regional Sales Manager to lead sales support in the Montreal region for Retail Investments within the Retail Channel.

Role focuses on driving sales effectiveness, training, and tool development in collaboration with Product Delivery Groups and cross-functional teams. Bilingual in French and English required, with strong knowledge of investment products and banking services.

Qualifications

Typically 5–7 years of relevant experience in financial planning or branch management.
Bilingual in French and English.
IFIC or CSC completed; IQPF or CIM or FCSI or CFA assets are a plus.
In-depth knowledge of investment products, markets, and banking services.

Responsibilities

Create and manage relationships with the assigned region of the retail Distribution Channel to ensure optimum representation of Retail Investments Products.
Provide ongoing sales support to the assigned region of the retail Distribution Channel.
Collaborate with Retail Investments and Product Delivery Groups to define requirements for sales tools and training.
Identify and provide product-specific training for the sales force.
Support Retail Investments national sales campaigns and programs.
Coordinate feedback on sales tools, growth and retention targets with other groups.
Understand competitor activities and assess impact on profitability and targets.
Develop tactical plans and annual territory business plans.
Organize travel plans and manage territorial budget.
Attend weekly team calls and report activities.
