Job summary

Canoe Financial is seeking a full-time Sales Coordinator to support our Toronto office. The candidate should be professional with strong verbal and written skills, able to multi-task, and organized to meet tight deadlines.

The role involves providing admin support to the sales team, coordinating events, managing CRM data in Salesforce, processing expenses, and arranging travel. A related post-secondary education is required and experience in the financial industry is an asset.

Qualifications

  • Related post-secondary education is required.
  • Experience in financial industry or a similar support role is an asset.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Professional telephone manner.
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of the mutual fund industry is an asset.
  • Knowledge of NI 81-105 is an asset.
  • Experience with Salesforce is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Providing administrative support for the Toronto sales team.
  • Scheduling and coordinating territory/corporate events, branch meetings and product manager presentations which includes sending invitations, booking venues, catering and confirming attendance.
  • Sending weekly/monthly/quarterly thank you/congratulation cards.
  • Coordinating printing of marketing materials.
  • Sorting and prioritizing incoming client mail, emails, answering/redirecting calls, responding to inquiries/requests.
  • Maintaining all client related information in the CRM (Salesforce.com) database.
  • Booking all travel including air, hotel and transportation for the sales teams.
  • Processing the sales teams expenses and cheque requests.

As the organization continues to grow, the candidate must be willing and able to accept change and take on new tasks as required.

Key responsibilities
