Job summary

BBA Consultants invites an experienced Office Director to Labrador City to lead operations, grow the local team and broaden client engagement in mining, metals and emerging renewables. You will shape strategy, oversee budgets and KPIs while collaborating with the St.

John’s office to extend the firm’s footprint. You will report to the Vice-President, Québec and Atlantic Operations, and mentor a multidisciplinary team, maintaining a strong focus on health, safety and client satisfaction while

Qualifications

• University degree in engineering or diploma in a relevant program of study.
• At least 10 years of relevant experience in a consulting engineering firm.
• Experience and interest in business development.
• Knowledge of multidisciplinary engineering within the mining industry.
• Experience in engaging and managing multidisciplinary work teams.
• Excellent soft skills and collaborative management skills.
• Experience in organizational development.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional business development activities with mining and energy clients.
• Continue to expand long-standing partnerships with local mining clients.
• Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of project opportunities in the region.
• Prepare annual office budgets and align strategies with the firm’s plan.
• Recruit top talent, develop team expertise and manage performance.
• Maintain health and safety roles and responsibilities.
• Foster collaboration with other offices, teams and departments.
• Promote innovation and empower employees to develop solutions.
