Job summary

Cape Breton University (CBU) seeks a Regional Manager of In.Business for Unama’ki College to lead Indigenous student recruitment and mentor engagement, working with the Director, Business Operations. This is a full-time, limited-term position of about one year, with potential renewal, based at CBU’s Membertou Office.

The role will implement strategic objectives, build partner networks, plan conferences, manage a regional budget, track activities, coordinate meetings and travel, and deliver

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to recruit Indigenous high school students and mentors.
• Strong proposal writing, administrative support, and reporting skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and maintain attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Execute strategic objectives and initiatives (Indigenous student recruitment, mentor recruitment, funding opportunities).
• Establish and maintain productive partnerships with communities and internal stakeholders.
• Plan and host up to two conferences per year.
• Develop and manage a regional budget and track progress.
