Job summary

Qualifications

• 5+ years in HVAC, building systems, service operations or related field.
• 3+ years leading teams in service, operations or field-based roles.
• Strong business and financial acumen including P&L, forecasting and budgeting.
• Proven ability to grow service business via relationships and cross-functional action.
• Experience managing projects, service execution and customer requests in fast-paced settings.
• Excellent leadership, communication and coaching abilities.
• Problem-solving and decision-making balancing customer needs and business goals.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; Salesforce experience is an asset.
• Valid driver's license with clean record (12+ months).
• Fluent English and French in verbal and written forms.

Responsibilities

• Lead the service business within the assigned area to achieve growth targets in revenue, profitability, workforce planning, and talent development.
• Own area P&L performance, including monthly revenue forecasting, expense management, and delivery against annual operating plans.
• Drive growth in service agreements, repair, retrofit, installation, and turnkey opportunities with Sales and acquisitions.
• Serve as key customer contact for escalations and major projects, ensuring strong relationships and satisfaction.
• Manage area budgets and control overhead, including fleet, tools, and safety equipment.
• Mitigate operational and commercial risk across service agreements and projects.
• Oversee service coordination and resource planning for timely customer response and efficient deployment.
• Build and develop a high-performing service team through coaching and training.
• Promote continuous improvement via performance management and standard work processes.
• Ensure technician capabilities align with customer and business needs across service delivery.
• Partner with area leadership to meet margin expectations during sales and execution.
• Uphold standard service processes and environmental, health and safety compliance.
• Travel to customer sites to support the team and oversee operations.
