Job summary

ALS is seeking a strong HSE Manager to implement and support Geochemistry HSE programs across the assigned region in Canada. You will work with North America HSE Management and regional operations to ensure compliance, drive improvements, and foster a robust safety culture.

You will lead hazard identification, conduct investigations, coach leadership, and manage regulatory interactions while promoting practical safety solutions across sites and during changes in operations and equipment

Qualifications

• 3+ years of progressive experience in Occupational Health & Safety, ideally within industrial, laboratory, or field operations.
• Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety legislation in the assigned region.
• Experience with risk assessment methodologies and incident investigations.

Responsibilities

• Implement regional HSE programs, standards, and procedures.
• Lead or support HSE reviews, audits, and investigations.
• Provide coaching to managers and supervisors on HSE responsibilities.
