Job summary

Ferrovial, a global infrastructure leader, seeks a Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Coordinator to support the company’s HSEQ systems in Canada. The role focuses on maintaining compliance, developing safety programs, coordinating training, audits, and emergency planning across projects.

You will collaborate with the HSEQ team to implement OSHA and local regulations, manage WHMIS, and contribute to a safe work environment while supporting incident response and continuous improvement

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education in a related field of HSE or HR.
  • 1+ years of related work experience on a HSEQ team.
  • Will to work toward NCSO certification.
  • Valid driver’s license with an exemplary driving record.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, organize, manage, maintain, and administer the Health and Safety Program.
  • Relay required safety information to all staff.
  • Identify safety training requirements and schedule training.
  • Conduct safety training within scope of experience and certification.
  • Complete internal audits as required.
  • Assist with hazard assessments.
  • Coordinate COR Certification requirements.
  • Maintain the WHMIS program and staff training.
  • Provide support with WSIB case management.
  • Work with managers to ensure compliance with safety legislation.
