Job summary

BDC in Canada seeks a Regional Coach to deliver tailored coaching for a select group of business development employees and to support new initiatives through targeted learning programs. You will work with regional teams to implement coaching plans and ensure effective knowledge transfer across the region.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in commerce/finance/business, five years in business development at BDC, and strong bilingual communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in commerce, finance, business administration or equivalent.
• Five years of experience in a business development role within BDC.
• Excellent track record and proven success in business development.
• Experience as an integration coach.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 and Collaborative Tools.
• Proven track record of providing impactful coaching focused on skill development.
• Self-motivated; strong peer collaborators; good diagnostic skills.
• Ability to adapt coaching style to best support the employees being coached.
• Good facilitation and presentation skills.
• Excellent communication and listening skills.
• Bilingualism (French and English)

Responsibilities

• Provide individual coaching, feedback and action plan follow-up with new or existing employees in a business development role.
• Deliver group cohort classes for employees for new initiatives or skill development.
• Train business development cohorts for common learning topics (CLICs, marketing tools, policy, credit guidelines, etc.).
• Collaborate with regional strategy implementation team and Learning Specialists on training plans.
• Provide support to integration coaches to ensure quality coaching.
• Keep track of coaching needs for the region to ensure adequate coaching resources.
