Job summary

Grasslands Recruitment Specialists seeks an experienced Regional Agronomic Account Manager to own and grow a Western Canada territory. You will work with retailers, agronomists, consultants, and growers to apply fertility strategies backed by science and measurable ROI.

You will combine agronomic knowledge with strategic sales, supporting customers through demonstrations and practical solutions while traveling regularly within the territory.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of agricultural sales and marketing experience.
• Experience working within agricultural retail is highly valued.
• Strong knowledge of agronomy, soil health, and crop fertility.
• B.Sc. Agriculture or Agriculture Business Diploma preferred; significant relevant experience considered.
• Proven success developing sales with retail and wholesale markets.
• Self-starter, independent with a large territory.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage a regional territory with independence similar to running a business.
• Represent fertility, biological, plant nutrition, and agronomic analytics solutions.
• Develop practical fertility strategies with measurable ROI alongside retailers and growers.
• Conduct demonstrations and translate agronomic science into practical solutions.
• Travel approximately three days per week within the territory.
