Southern Comfort Mechanical Inc. in Winnipeg, MB is seeking a Level 2 or 3 Refrigeration and AC apprentice to join our construction-focused team. You will install HVAC equipment on commercial sites and perform preventive maintenance, with reliable hours and family-friendly schedules.

We value teamwork, safety and ongoing learning; a valid MOPIA license and driver's license are required, with tools provided and opportunities for apprenticeship progression through Manitoba programs.

Qualifications

• Registered Level 2 or 3 Refrigeration and AC Mechanic apprentice.
• Valid MOPIA license.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Available to work Winnipeg area; team or independent.
• Strong communication and customer service skills; eager to learn.

Responsibilities

• Install heating and air conditioning equipment and ventilation systems on commercial jobsites
• Perform routine preventative maintenance on HVAC and refrigeration equipment
• Maintain jobsites, tools, and materials
• Prepare written material lists as required
• Other duties as assigned

Responsibilities

• Install heating and air conditioning equipment and ventilation systems on commercial jobsites
• Perform routine preventative maintenance on HVAC and refrigeration equipment
• Maintain jobsites, tools, and materials
• Prepare written material lists as required
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Registered Level 2 or 3 Refrigeration and AC Mechanic apprentice
• Must have a valid MOPIA license
• Possess a valid and current driver's license
• Have daily reliable transportation to and from jobsites within Winnipeg and the surrounding areas
• Willing to work as part of a team or independently with little direction
• Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills
• Customer service oriented
• Possess a willingness to learn new skills and procedures
