The Township of Langley is seeking an Auxiliary Recreation Worker III – General Instructor to deliver and guide Active Beyond the Bell, skating, arts, crafts, dance and gym activities. You will lead diverse youth programs, supervise activities, and promote safe practices in facilities and equipment.
Reporting to the Community Recreation Manager, you will plan and instruct sessions, adapt to registration schedules, and work on an as-needed basis across programs with non-standard hours.

Job Overview: The Township of Langley is currently recruiting for up to twenty auxiliary Recreation Worker III – General Instructors (Active Beyond the Bell Program, Skating, General Programs, Sports, Arts and Crafts, Dance and Gymnastics) to join our team of professionals in the Recreation, Arts and Culture Division, Recreation Programs and Services Department. Reporting to the Community Recreation Manager, in this unionized position you will provide leadership and instruction for a variety of recreation programs and activities.

This position is defined by the Township of Langley as a position of trust (Child Safety).
