Job summary

PCL Construction Resources Inc. in Edmonton, Alberta (Corporate) is seeking a Receptionist to be the first impression of our North American headquarters.

You will answer visitor inquiries, direct guests to meeting rooms and staff, and manage inbound calls with professionalism and courtesy. Key responsibilities include greeting visitors, handling mail and courier logistics, coordinating deliveries across campus, and supporting the reception area with accuracy and a service-oriented mindset.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma is required.
  • Professional communication in person and over the phone.
  • Basic skills in Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Service-oriented approach.
  • Strong networking and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and monitor reception area.
  • Answer and direct incoming calls in a prompt, professional and courteous manner.
  • Greet all visitors, answer questions, direct to meeting rooms or staff.
  • Provide information and assistance to clients and customers.
  • Opens, sorts and date stamps incoming mail and distributes.
  • Coordinate and organize all incoming and outgoing couriers and mail.
  • Transports mail, couriers and documents to and from various districts on campus as required.
  • Oversees the operation and maintenance of courier and postal software and systems.
  • Manages and tracks cross-border deliveries.
  • Ad hoc duties as assigned by supervisor.
