Job summary

Solactive AG is seeking an Application Support Specialist to maintain real-time financial systems, including market-connectivity and distributed Linux platforms. You will support and enhance proprietary index and market-data platforms, ensuring stability and rapid incident resolution.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in financial markets support, strong Linux and SQL skills, and experience with monitoring stacks.

Qualifications

5+ years in application/technical support within financial markets or market-data systems.
Strong Linux, SQL across major RDBMS (Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL Server).
Experience with monitoring stacks (ELK, Kibana, Grafana, Alerta).
Excellent English communication; comfortable working with global teams.
Ability to lead high-pressure production incidents with calm and clarity.

Responsibilities

Provide L1/L2 support for mission-critical index, market-data, and trading-related applications.
Monitor distributed Linux systems, analyse logs, and resolve real-time production issues.
Lead incident management, coordinating with global tech and business teams, and driving root-cause analysis.
Ensure SLA-compliant resolution and maintain high platform availability.
Manage change, release, and deployment activities following ITIL best practices.
