Job summary

Solactive AG in Toronto (Hybrid) seeks a Quant/Finance professional to advance index models and tooling for clients in a fast-paced FinTech environment. You will model derivatives, FX, equities and fixed income indexes, and support clients with operational inquiries.

The ideal candidate has a quantitative finance background, strong Python skills, and at least 3 years in finance, with English fluency for global collaboration.

Qualifications

• Academic degree in (Quantitative) Finance, Financial Engineering, Information Technologies or similar.
• Solid knowledge in capital markets.
• At least 3 years of experience in the financial industry.
• Proven programming skills in Python.
• Good command of MS Office.
• Experience with Reuters, FactSet or Bloomberg would be a plus.
• Team-orientation and strong sense of responsibility and accuracy.
• Self-driven, organized and innovative approach to work.
• Fluency in English (written and verbal).

• Continuously developing and optimizing of existing tools and processes
• Onboarding new and maintaining existing quantitative index models based on derivatives, FX as well as Equities and Fixed Income securities for our clients
• Assisting clients with index and/or operational inquiries
• Serve as a model and data expert for the daily index calculation production

Job Overview
