Job summary

Huawei Canada is seeking a Real Estate Project Manager on a 12-month contract to lead end-to-end delivery of real estate initiatives from planning to completion in Markham, Ontario.

The role requires more than three years of program management experience, PM certification, and proficiency with PM tools like Gantt Chart and WBS. You will coordinate a delivery team, manage budgets and risks, and maintain strong customer communications throughout the project lifecycle.

• More than three years' PM program management and delivery experience.
• Experience as a large-scale engineering project manager delivering from prep to completion.
• PM certification and use of PM tools like Gantt Chart and WBS.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end delivery of real estate projects from inception through completion and handover.
• Set up a project delivery team to ensure timely resources and execution.
• Ensure compliance with customer requirements, manage supplier resources, and monitor project plan progress and budget.
• Identify and control project risks; escalate major issues to sponsor and management as needed.
• Maintain regular communication with customers to ensure satisfaction during delivery.

About the job:

• Manage the end-to-end delivery of real estate projects from lease involvement, preparation, design, establishment, implementation, completion, acceptance and etc..

• Set up a project delivery team to ensure that resources are in place and released in a timely manner.

• Comply with customer requirements, manage supplier resources, control the project plan progress and project budget, and ensure that the project is delivered in a timely manner and meets quality standards.

• Control project risks and escape major issues to the sponsor and management for help.

• Maintain regular communication with customers to ensure customer satisfaction during project delivery.

The total target annual compensation (based on 2,080 hours per year) ranges from $48,000 to $94,000 depending on education, experience, and demonstrated expertise.

About the ideal candidate:

• Have more than three years' experience in program management and delivery. Have served as a large-scale engineering project manager and completed project delivery from project preparation to project completion as the primary owner.

• Good team work spirit and interpersonal communication skills. Strong goal orientation, adaptability and stress resistance of working culture.

• Familiar with the business operation mode and engineering construction specifications of civil work, electromechanical, and decoration projects, and have basic knowledge of contracts, subcontracting, procurement, and commerce.

• Have been PM certificated and use PM tools like Gantt Chart, WBS and so on.
