Merovitz Potechin LLP is seeking a Law Clerk to join our Real Estate Law team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with top-tier clients and amazing colleagues.

Summary of position:

The ideal candidate will have experience working as part of a team to assist with a wide variety of real estate law matters and the ability to manage tasks from start to finish with minimal supervision. This opportunity offers a great work atmosphere and an opportunity to work with welcoming and knowledgeable lawyers, clients, and colleagues.

This is a full-time permanent position with a team that works in a very supportive environment. The position offers an outstanding opportunity for personal and professional growth.

Required Qualifications:

• 
  3+ years’ experience as a real estate law clerk
• Strong understanding of real estate law and ability to handle a file from start to finish
• 
  Proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams
• 
  Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
• 
  Strong knowledge of basic legal concepts, principles, and terminology
• 
  Experience working with Teraview and Unity.
• 
  Experience working with Lawyer Done Deal (LDD) would be an asset.
• 
  Superior interpersonal skills to interact with lawyers, clients, and colleagues
• 
  Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
• 
  Attention to detail
• 
  Superior time management skills, multitasking skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks with minimal supervision
