Senior Recruitment Specialist at LeverageTek Staffing Solutions

LeverageTek is actively seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk for a 6 to 9-month contract opportunity with its Ottawa-based customer.

Work Location

Remote

Key Tasks

  • Accurately process and code a high volume of vendor invoices
  • Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and payment issues
  • Respond to vendor inquiries and maintain professional vendor relationships
  • Assist in month-end A/P close activities
  • Maintain organized records and ensure compliance with internal policies and controls
  • Support the A/P Manager with reporting and ad hoc projects as needed

Key Qualifications

  • Must have 3-5 years of corporate Accounts Payable experience in a fast-paced environment.
  • Hands-on experience assisting in month-end activities.
  • Experience with invoice entry, approvals, coordination with treasury and payment processing.

Qualifications

  • Confident working with senior people
  • 3–5 years of recent accounts payable experience in a corporate or shared service
  • Experience working with ERP systems; Deltek Vision is an asset
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines independently
