Job summary

Gestion Zagora in Montreal seeks an Asset Manager to oversee its real estate portfolio. You will set strategies to raise returns, monitor financial performance of each building and report to management and investors.

Collaborating with property management, finance and operations, you will execute strategic plans, manage leases and renewals, analyze market trends and pursue value-enhancing renovations and potential acquisitions.

Qualifications

• A degree in finance, real estate, business or related field.
• 3–5 years in asset management, financial analysis or property management.
• Strong understanding of financial statements and financial modelling.
• Excellent analytical skills and ability to interpret complex data.
• Clear written and spoken communication with precise reports.
• Advanced Excel proficiency; MS Office suite.
• Experience with ERP or real estate software is a plus.
• Bilingual French and English is a strong asset.

Responsibilities

• Develop and carry out strategies that optimise the return on each asset
• Track and analyse building financials: revenue, expenses and cash flow
• Prepare detailed financial and operational reports for management and investors
• Find ways to create value: rent optimisation, cost reductions, renovations and potential acquisitions
• Work with property management, finance and operations to execute strategic plans
• Follow leases, renewals and major negotiations across the portfolio
• Track market trends and prepare comparative analyses to support investment decisions
