Job summary

A leading energy transition company in Laval is seeking an Energy Performance Specialist. In this full-time role, you will conduct technical assessments, identify energy-saving opportunities, and ensure optimal delivery of projects across large-scale mandates. Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in Building Engineering and 5 to 7 years of experience. Proficiency in both French and English is required.

Qualifications

5 to 7 years of experience in a similar role.
Strong and proven knowledge of building mechanical systems.
Understanding of building automation systems.

As a RCx and Energy Performance Specialist you will be a strategic pillar of our implementation team. Working closely with our design and installation teams you will be involved at every stage of our processes to ensure optimal delivery of guaranteed savings projects for our clients. You will work on large-scale mandates including major residential buildings hotel complexes and senior living facilities.

What you’ll accomplish with us

Conduct on-site technical assessments of electromechanical systems
Identify energy-saving opportunities by system type
Contribute to the design of integrated energy solutions in accordance with Fusion standards
Support the recommissioning of mechanical systems
Prepare commissioning and recommissioning reports
Provide post-commissioning follow-up and participate in the optimization of operational sequences
Assist in the development of processes to support company growth
Act as a technical resource for the design team

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Building Engineering Mechanical Engineering Energy Efficiency Automation or equivalent
5 to 7 years of experience in a similar role
Required : strong and proven knowledge of building mechanical systems (ventilation air conditioning heating) particularly in the context of RCx projects
Major asset : RCx certification
Understanding of building automation systems
Excellent organizational skills attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively
Solution-oriented mindset
Proficiency in both French and English spoken and written
