Alstom in Toronto, ON is seeking a full-time Signalling Functional Tester to execute and oversee testing and commissioning for the OnCorr project within the Metrolinx area. You will validate signalling systems, ensure regulatory compliance, and report progress to the Project Commissioning Manager.

The role requires a college diploma in Electrical/Electronics Engineering Technology, 2–3 years in railway test & commissioning, and willingness to work night hours, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• College diploma in Electrical/Electronics Engineering Technology or equivalent.
• 2-3 years experience in Test & Commissioning in a Railway Environment.
• Knowledge of Health, Safety, Environment requirements.
• Available to work at night, during weekends and on public holidays.
• Able to communicate with various stakeholders.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and execute testing activities.
• Support one or several Projects on railway signalling systems.
• Ensure defects identification and correction (trouble shooting).
• Deliver commissioned reports and ensure compliance with EHS and Safety standards.
• Lead testing activities and provide technical leadership to team members.
