Job summary

Ericsson Canada Inc. is seeking a Radio Security Developer with strong cybersecurity expertise and hands-on radio verification experience.

The role focuses on security engineering, lab verification, and AI-enabled automation to deliver secure radio products. You will lead security testing, analyze vulnerabilities, and design mitigations while collaborating with hardware, software and system teams to address platform risks and verification gaps.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of cybersecurity/security engineering experience.
• Experience with nodal-level or virtualized network functions.
• Strong radio security engineering and end-to-end verification background.
• Proficiency with Linux, networking, automation, and field debugging.
• Experience with IPsec/IKEv2, TLS, SNMP, and LDAP.

Responsibilities

• Lead security testing across products, releases and lab environments.
• Drive application and network security testing, robustness validation, vulnerability analysis, and root-cause investigation.
• Contribute to threat and risk assessments at feature and product level.
• Design, implement, and validate security mitigations considering hardware constraints.
• Develop automation pipelines and AI-enabled workflows for security tools.
• Collaborate with hardware, software and system teams to close verification gaps.
• Document strategies, results and evidence clearly and collaborate on remediation.
