Job summary

Softr is seeking a quotation specialist to join our growing team in Langley, Canada. You’ll translate customer requirements and electrical drawings into accurate, practical quotations, working at the intersection of technology, customer needs and sales.

You’ll collaborate with Sales, Engineering and Operations to develop quotes, manage multiple requests, and maintain Salesforce records. The first three months are on-site, followed by a hybrid schedule and flexible start times.

Qualifications

• Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology or related technical education.
• At least one year of coding or quotation experience preferred.
• Ability to read and understand single-line diagrams.
• Experience in electrical, automation, power systems or a related industrial environment.
• Strong communication, organization and problem-solving skills.
• SAP and Salesforce experience is an asset, but SAP can be learned.

Responsibilities

• Prepare technical quotations based on customer requirements, specifications and electrical drawings.
• Review single-line diagrams and electrical information to determine the right products and solutions.

Our client is expanding its team and adding a fifth Quoting Specialist to support a growing workload.

You’ll work at the intersection of electrical technology, customer needs and sales, helping turn technical requirements into accurate, practical quotations.

If you have an electrical background, can read single-line diagrams, and enjoy solving problems with customers and internal teams, this could be a strong next step.

What You’ll Do:

The team is also open to technically strong candidates who may not have extensive coding experience. The right electrical foundation, attitude and ability to learn can go a long way.
