Guelph KIA is looking for a full-time Quick Lube Technician to join our growing team! You will play a crucial role in quickly and efficiently performing routine maintenance on our customers’ vehicles. This role is suitable for candidates looking to pursue a career in motive power. Our Technicians and Apprentices are eager to welcome a new team member!

The Quick Lube Technician is responsible for inspecting and lubricating customers’ vehicles in accordance with policies and procedures set by the Service Manager. This role also involves performing light mechanical work such as tire and battery replacement, as instructed.

• Perform oil & filter changes
• Sell lubrication, safety inspections, & related services
• Perform multi-point inspections, check and mark required items, and present findings to the Service Advisor
• Mount, balance, rotate, and repair tires; add air as needed
• Support shop cleanliness and appearance to ensure a high customer service experience
• Other tasks as assigned

What you need:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Legal authorization to work in Canada
• Previous Lube Tech experience is an advantage
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Physical ability to perform heavy lifting, stand for long periods, and use power tools and hand-held equipment
• A valid Ontario driver’s license and a safe driving record
