What You'll Do:

1. Promote Safety: Take an active role in prioritizing safety throughout the operation for yourself and others at all times in accordance with MSHA and Vulcan standards.
2. 2nd Shift Requirement: This position is on the second shift and will work the following hours: Mondays 4 pm to 2 am; Tuesdays to Thursdays 5 pm to 3 am; Fridays 2 pm to 10 pm.
3. Repair and Maintain Mobile Equipment: Lubricate, clean, and perform small services to heavy mobile and stationary equipment to maximize performance and limit downtime.
4. Inspect Equipment and Material: Inspect all mobile equipment, perform oil sampling, interpret results, and make recommendations based on analysis.
5. Document and Record Information: Ensure accurate documentation of all equipment-related activities and maintain service reports.
6. Handle and Move Objects: Handle, install, and move parts, materials, and tools safely.
7. Perform General Physical Activities: Engage in physical activities such as climbing, lifting, and walking.
8. Additional Responsibilities: Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Skills You'll Need:

• Experience: Previous experience with diesel or heavy construction equipment preferred; familiarity with CAT SIS or ET programs highly desired.
• Knowledge of Best Practices: Knowledge of servicing heavy construction equipment is preferred.
• Working Ability: Willing to work overtime, extended hours, outdoors in all weather, and tolerate loud noises.
• Mechanical Skills: Some knowledge of industrial tools and maintenance.
