Job summary

Interpro Pipe & Steel Inc. in Red Deer, AB is seeking a Quality Assurance professional to maintain the QMS, review customer specifications, and coordinate internal and external audits.

You will ensure timely product release and lead root-cause analysis, corrective actions, and risk assessments. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field and a minimum of three years’ experience in QA/QC or related manufacturing work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field preferred.
• Minimum of three years in quality assurance, QC, materials/industrial/chemical/quality engineering, or equivalent manufacturing experience.
• Experience with API 5CT, API 5L, CSA Z245.1 and steelmaking is assets.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve Interpro Red Deer’s QMS to ensure products meet standards.
• Organize and participate in internal and third-party audits.
• Manage non-conformances and drive corrective actions.
• Maintain procedures, work instructions, and other QMS documentation.
• Lead risk assessments and change management initiatives.
• Provide coverage for key quality control activities and support root cause analysis.
