ABB in Canada is seeking a Quality Assurance professional to own and drive supplier qualification, audits, and process improvement within the Measurement & Analytics Division. You will validate and approve design, purchasing, and testing documentation, and participate in critical quality governance boards to close non-conformities.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in science, at least 5 years of relevant experience, ISO 9001 familiarity, and travel flexibility.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in science (or equivalent experience).
  • At least 5 years of relevant expertise in the position.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 standards.
  • Experience in a regulatory or standards-driven environment.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally.
  • French is required; English is also required to communicate with customers outside Quebec.

Responsibilities

  • Audit projects, processes, and suppliers to ensure compliance with standards.
  • Oversee supplier selection, qualification, evaluation, monitoring, and improvement.
  • Generate project quality plans and approve design, purchasing, integration, and testing docs.
  • Lead and complete initiatives to simplify and optimize processes.
  • Participate in MRB and CCB as a quality authority.
