Job Summary:

This role involves inspecting machined parts or assemblies according to drawings or specifications, using visual and mechanical tools. Responsibilities include performing surface plate setups, recording inspection findings, reading blueprints, compiling data packages, and writing NCRs.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of mechanical inspection experience
• Familiarity with First Article paperwork
• Knowledge of GD&T per ANSI Y14.5
• Experience in an ISO/aerospace environment is a plus
• Ability to interpret prints, orders, and documentation
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Self-motivated, capable of working independently
• Able to work overtime, including some Saturdays
• Prioritize safety at all times

Work Environment:

Shop floor with noise, dirt, oil, and grease. Requires physical activity like walking, climbing, bending, and reaching. Occasional exposure to airborne oil/coolant mist and chemicals. Slip-resistant shoes are required.
