Job summary

Clark Builders in Edmonton, Alberta, is seeking a Quality Control Manager to develop and implement project-specific QC plans. You will work with the project team, owners, architects, and subcontractors to ensure full compliance with contract documents and codes.

This role requires a bachelor’s degree or certificate and at least five years of construction QC leadership, with strong communication, mentoring, and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Certificate from an accredited program with minimum of 5 years of experience.
• Experience leading and mentoring staff in construction.
• Ability to interpret contract documents, drawings, specifications, scopes of work and project schedule.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement project-specific QC Plan with project team and owners.
• Coordinate with Owner/Architect team and contract documents to develop DFOW Log.
• Plan and chair pre-installation meetings and Mock-Up Review meetings.
• Perform daily on-site quality follow-up inspections and coordinate third-party testing and inspections.
• Ensure punch list prevention and manage closeout documentation.
