Qualifications

• On-site work at a processing facility in Canada NB.
• English language required.

Responsibilities

• Advise supervisors of ingredient or product deficiencies.
• Take samples of products at various stages of processing.
• Examine ingredients or finished products to ensure conformance to company standards.
• Conduct routine tests for product specifications.
• Grade and label raw materials or finished products.
• Ensure hygiene and sanitation practices conform to policies and regulations.
• Provide staff training.
• Provide advice in the area of food preparation and storage, and food safety.
• Maintain quality control and production records.
• Ensure compliance with government regulations.
• Check products and packaging for basic quality defects.
• Check products for quality control.
• Check and monitor product quality.
• Process files and paperwork.
• Monitor environmental non-compliance and required corrective actions.
• Investigate complaints.
• Conduct or assist in environmental monitoring and protection activities.
