Job summary

Soleterra d'Italia is seeking a Quality Control Specialist to establish policies and supervise QA programs at our rural Alberta facility. The role requires GMP expertise, blueprints reading, and strong communication.

On-site work is required with relocation as needed in a food processing environment. The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of QA experience, a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, and proficiency with MS Office and Outlook.

  • Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) knowledge.

  • Establish and implement policies and procedures for quality control.
  • Conduct or supervise operational programs.
  • Direct quality control inspections.
  • Plan and manage the establishment of departmental budget.
  • Plan and implement changes to machinery and production methods.
  • Hire, supervise and train staff in new equipment or techniques.
  • Plan and organize daily operations and production schedules.
